The quality of our creations has built the reputation of DE TONGE, taking the brand to the high standards of furniture manufacturing. Quality is omnipresent at each and every step of the processes from manufacturing, finishing to customer service.
Manufacturing quality
The wood we use comes from the best oak forests in the regions of Bourgogne and Isère. It is a careful selection of the producers that grants us the constant and irreproachable quality of the oak.
Our furnitures are crafted in Valbonne – France for most of it and we keep an entire control of the quality at each level of manufacturing.

| We craft furniture following methods used since antiquity. These techniques require more time and have often been replaced by techniques providing lower quality. | Ties and uprights on doors are assembled and pinned and thick glass is held by solid oak panels. |
Dovetail assembling. The sides of the drawer are assembled in a straight position, giving them a better resistance so they can last several generations of hands manipulating them. |
Our cabinet-makers and carpenters are true Master-craftsmen; they are passionate about crafting beautiful pieces. The pride they feel after having crafted a nice piece of furniture justifies the time spent on it.
At DE TONGE we manufacture high standard furniture and we make sure that every piece is built with high quality. A golden "T" pin is inserted into each piece of furniture as a proof of authenticity.
